Why does textures go missing when tried to render with vray?

Hello,

I have tried importing a sketchup 3D model from 3D warehouse. When i try rendering with vray, no textures are shown in the model. Any one has any idea how to fix this issue? This didnt happen before with vray for me. My vray version right now is 3.4 and sketchup 2017..

Any help will be apprecited.

creating your own textures

Hello,

I m having some difficulty creating my own textures from scratch. i take an image and put it into normals using crazybump which works fine. i then resize the image to a factor of 2 and convert it into a .dds in dds converter 2.1 which again works fine. i then go into the cry engine go to textures and add a new layer from there i press change layer texture and navigate to the file which is saved on desktop but i get the error message error whilst loading textures. i assumes this was because i was not saving it in the file game/texture/details however when i go to find it on my pc its not there and wont eaven come up when i search in the start menu. why is this and how can i get my textures to work? and yes other pre installed textures on it work fine. im using windows 7 32bit home premium.

Any help will be apprecited.

Trouble with GSM with my new GT02A

Hello,

I've just got my fist tracker and I inserted SIM card but it seems does not work properly. GSM led indicator fashes 1 per sec like it was searching GSM, but it does never connect, then I can't send any SMS to configure the device. Even I tried to call to the device but I got it's diconnected.
Can any one help me? Any one knows why the device is trying to connect to GSM network but never get signal?

Hello,

I tried getting a straight answer from "Ooma India," but only received a maybe answer? I am upgrading to the Telo from the original Hub. I purchased online direct from my account page, purchasing the special now available. Does anyone know if a tracking number is e-mailed to let the customer know when to expect product? I see that my credit card has received a debit for the Telo, so I know the order went through.

Cable Modem, Cable TV splitter Problem?

Hello,

Two days ago my cable modem/internet connection stopped working, it worked for months before. This is the setup. Cable from the wall goes to a splitter, which splits it to one cable to the cable modem and one cable to the TV. If I connect the cable modem directly to the wall, it works. If I connect the cable modem to splitter, it doesn't work, but the TV does (which is also connected to splitter). I tried another splitter, and get the same reaction - TV works, modem doesn't. My only theory is that the signal isn't strong enough for some reason (some amplifier broken on the way to my place or the freezing cold lately outside?) for the cable internet/modem connection to work through a splitter. If i use the splitter and don't connect a TV to it, it still doesn't work. What do you guys think? I rather fix it on my own than wait weeks for the cable guy to come and probably pay some godly service fee.

Cable modem question / equipment issues

Hello,

If power blinks, my cable modem needs a lot of manual hand-holding to come back up correctly. I'm wondering if it's an equipment problem on my end or something with my ISP. My modem is an Ambit U10C018, router is a WRT-54GL running Tomato. First, the router has to be unplugged while the modem boots or it doesn't pull an IP (via DHCP). I know this matches conventional instructions (plug in the modem, then plug in the router), but this is the first cable modem I've ever encountered where it actually matters. Second, I can't simply power cycle the modem. I have to leave the modem unplugged for a solid two minutes or again it won't pull an IP. To me this seems like an awful long time for just residual data to clear from memory. Can I fix likely fix this on my side by replacing my equipment - fixed defined as gear just boots and works - or is the lengthy power down a matter of waiting for something on the ISP side to notice the disconnection and reset?

Second Monitor Problem with Media Composer on Laptop

Hi,

I use MC 8.5 on a HP ZBook Laptop for cutting news packages. I've added a second monitor for reading email and other computer needs. In my truck I have the extra monitor mounted above the laptop. The system will allow me to extend the monitor to either side but if I try to extend it above MC gives an alert that "a minimum screen height of 768 pixels is required". The real issue is that I must move my cursor past screen right for it to appear on the second monitor that is mounted above the main screen and that just isn't easy to get used to.
Any Ideas?
